A beginner level corresponds to someone who is just starting out or who practices occasionally. The intermediate level is determined by fairly regular practice, you master the basics and want to improve. The expert or confirmed level corresponds to people perfectly mastering the practice and looking for new sensations.
3-wheel skates will allow you to go faster with a lower center of gravity, thus providing more stability than frames with 4 wheels. 4-wheel frames have the advantage of being more manoeuvrable. Generally we recommend 4-wheel frames for beginners.
- 4 Wheels
The diameter of the wheel affects handling, rolling comfort and speed. The smaller the diameter, the less the skate can go fast and the more manoeuvrable it will be. Conversely, large wheels will provide better speed but with less maneuverability.
- 80 mm
A plastic plate has the advantage of absorbing vibrations well but has a shorter lifespan than an aluminum plate which will not deform over time. The aluminum frame is more solid and will be able to withstand jumps and slides. Due to its rigidity, there is also a better restitution of energy.
- Extruded aluminum
A removable liner has the advantage of being easier to clean and dry. This is the only advantage of this type of slipper.
