Roller quality multi sizes
For a first pair some parents are tempted to take toys or rollers super market. We do not recommend this approach in terms of comfort, strength and safety. A child who is in pain or whose foot is not properly held, will not be able to properly control his rollers or progress normally.
The kids rollers are multi sizes , indeed they are scalable in size on 4 or 5 sizes. The models do not necessarily cover the same size niches, so apart from the notion of comfort and holding of foot, it is the criterion of major choice. It is he who will allow you to offer a solid child roller which will last several years.
At what age do I start rollerblading?
In general, children can start skating from 5-6 years old. Yet, as with walking, there is no written rule in learning coordination. So, if your child is out of balance on foot, give him some time before putting him on rollers.

In general, these rollers are equipped with a semi-rigid plastic shell shoe that provides good support during learning. Rollers K2 , Rollerblade , and Powerslide , are the ones that will offer the best value for money on the market. The price of children's roller skate oscillate between 89,90 €and 129,90 €.
For an advanced level and a more regular practice, it is better to choose a pair of rollers with a more resistant and precise aluminum plate. If your child is quite comfortable on rollerblades or if it is his second pair, it's worth it to invest in this type of rollers that will last longer and that will bring him much more outfit and precision in skating.
Quad skates or inline skates?
It's a real debate!
Inline skating provides a better balance than traditional roller skating because its wheels protrude at the front and rear of the roller which gives the child more stability (front / rear). In most cases, it's the best choice.
The four-wheeled child quad bike, 2 in the front and 2 in the back. If the front-back support is shorter than with in-line skating, it brings, however, more lateral stability when the child is stationary. If you find that your child has the ankles sagging inward, in terms of growth, in this case, it would be relevant to start with a pair of traditional roller skates that will help him stay upright.
Be careful though this is a special case, and if we find models from the 29th, we can not find a quality quad skate in different sizes.
Note that roller skates will also be suitable for those who want to practice roller skating.
Which size of roller to choose?
Choosing the right size of a child's roller is not always easy because it involves investing in a pair of skates that may become too small quickly enough. Depending on the child's age and morphology, his foot may become too big for the skates in just six months! That's why sometimes we think of buying a pair a few sizes above the normal size to enjoy a little longer. On the other hand, it risks making roller skating complicated and even dangerous. If the child's feet float inside the roller, this can cause balance problems and the lack of support will prevent the child from skating properly. Not to mention the blisters and wounds caused by friction.
To solve this problem the brands have created the adjustable size rollers. Depending on the brand chosen, this roller will adjust child's foot and support the growth of his feet on 2-3 sizes. Note that it's all the kick that is expanding which guarantees the best support regardless of size.
Precautions to take
Falls are inevitable if you want to learn to rollerblading, which worries many parents. Do not be afraid and take into account that children are much more flexible than adults. Also, being smaller than us, they also fall lower. To protect them, it is important to equip them with a child's roller protection kit: wrist guards, elbow pads, knee pads, helmet.
For the first workouts, choose the smoothest surface possible. Ideally, it would be necessary to find a place with a defined perimeter, because the child beginner in roller skating does not control his trajectories well yet.
