The Concave refers to the longitudinal curvature of the board. The higher the curvature, the more pressure you can put on the edges of your board, which improves steering and makes it easier to turn your board. It remains above all a question of feelings and personal tastes. Low Concave: Slight bend, more stable driving, but more difficult to move the board. Medium Concave: Recommended for beginners, most skateboards are moderately concave. High Concave: Very pronounced curvature, which allows great reactivity. The board is more sensitive. Be careful, this makes the board less prone to the error of the rider. Flat: These decks are very rare these days, we find this on old school or longboard decks. They have a lot of foot space, the board is flat.
